Hello!
I decided to start a new blog. I still use livejournal but mainly for reading other people's posts and catching up on my feeds. So, anyway, I thought maybe if I used something new I would actually use it.
Today has been a funny day. I've spent most of it looking at Norwegian style blogs and wishing I lived in Oslo and owned a pet pig, the rest dancing around the kitchen pretending to be in a musical and the other half napping. I'm halfway through my final year exams which is a very strange/uplifting/scary feeling. I can't believe four years are almost at an end! It's so crazy and to think I didn't even want to come to Reading. Where would I be if I hadn't? It's funny how life turns out and can make you happier than you'd ever imagine. I just need to persevere for the next few days and then I will be free until September! When a new chapter starts...
I can't wait until Monday. The boy will be back from his mini-Belgian tour and we are going to fill the day with cuddles, clothes and SUSHI. I am going to fill my tummy with as much miso soup, maki, nigiri and sashimi as it can hold. YUM!
I will also be on the look out for the Luella-inspired prom dress from Primark. I'm bidding on one on Ebay but just in case I don't get it. If only it were real Luella. Le sigh. One day...
Now I might curl up with a book and a cup of tea. Tomorrow promises more revision procrastination and general frippery.
